I made an overdue visit to The Book Deal yesterday for the first time and wow, what a gem! I brought in several boxes... of books, DVDs, and CDs and was given a fair offer via store credit for them. The two staff members I met were delightful, the store was cozy and well labeled/easy to navigate, they had a great & neatly organized selection, and the prices were super reasonable. I'm a volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and will be back soon with my little sister - they give away 5 free children's books with each visit ❤️ Love it!!read more

My new favorite used book store! They are constantly bringing in new titles (and keeping us updated about it on... Facebook!), and you honestly can't beat the prices. $1-$4 for anything, and I'm talking good, relevant titles, not just the ones no one wants. Not to mention, I feel like they constantly have offers where you end up getting free books too. AND they donate to local schools for each book purchased! Odd location, but a very nice little book store. The last few times I visited Half Priced Books I didn't find anything,... but my first visit to Book Deal I walked away with five books and one vinyl. The guys were super friendly, and the prices are ridiculous. Nice little selection of books and CDs as well as some other odds and ends. Will be returning for sure.read more

I loved the selection, which had what I needed and more that I wanted! Go often and stay longer, since there are so... many gems. The place is open and inviting with a logical arrangement of titles. The staff is very friendly and eager to help out, so I did not hesitate to ask for some guidance to find the section I was most interested in. I loved the kids section where I saw my own favorites, those of my family with new titles. The selection also changes, as more books are added.
